The CAT 3116 is available in aturbocharged configuration ranging in horsepower from 185-250. This medium duty engine is utilized in various truck and bus applications. The CAT 3116 engine is available in a Complete Drop-In configuration only.

Search Parts' s Dyne Test
All Search Parts's Complete Drop-In engines are 100% dyno tested prior to shipment. Computer controls en sure that each engine dyno testis conducted under standard, repeatable setthgs. Every engine is run through a warm up cycle; three separate segments simulating light, medium and heavy throttle conditions; maximum torque and horsepower tests; both high and lowidle tests; and a black light leak detection test with dyed oil, coolant and fuel. Search Parts also tests oi and coolant temperature; monitors crankcase pressure, oil andturbc boost pressures; and tests fuel consumption.
