In-Frame Overhaul Kits
The Search Parts In-Frame Overhaul Kit contains the most up-to-date three-ring piston design. It is identical to the piston offered by the OEM. Search Parts late model kits also include the melal positive valve seal. These kits are available forthe B and C Sariesengines.

Engine Identification
To order any Navistar DT-466 Complete Drop-In determine thefollowing information:
- Full serial number [13 digts, located on the drivel's side of the btook, centered beloA) the head surface]
- Engine horsepower
- If engine is turbocharged, turbocharged with intercooler, or turbo charged wth aftercooler
- High mount fan [4 grooves in crarkshaft pulley] or low mount
fan [3 groovas]
To order 1988 and newer Navistar DT-466 Complete Drop-Ins ALSO deiermine the following information:
- lnjectior pump part number [located on governor housing]
- Turbo part number
- lf exhaust pipe connect directlyto turbo or connects to turbo through elbow [which faces toward front of engine]
- Front cover casting number
- lntake manifold casting number
- Bolt-on or thread- on fan clutch
